One More Good Thing About Saturday Evening Church Services

The worst night of the year, for me anyway, has always been this horrible horrible night that is coming tonight - the night where all of the clocks (well, I think there are a few rebel areas of certain states maybe) are "Sprung Ahead" one hour. Sounds so chipper, doesn't it? Well, for me, losing an hour of sleep is a terrible idea. Having to get up for church an hour earlier on this day every year makes for a very groggy morning. No fun at all.

Well, this year, maybe the only year ever, I am not minding the time change at all. We went to church TONIGHT! Ha! And don't have to get up early for anything tomorrow. We are sleeping in! Yay!

Now we just have to hope that Ella will get that memo too.....

So, "Nighty Night" everyone! We will be dreaming about you tomorrow morning as we are sleeping in, snuggled under our covers, and you are walking around your houses with your eyes half-closed, donning your Sunday best! (:

Hey, thanks a lot! :) Yep, I realized this fall that even though we "gain" an hour, the girls stay on the exact same schedule, so it just feels like you are getting up an hour earlier. I kinda like "Spring Ahead" because it meant I got to put them to bed an hour early in anticipation for what we'll loose. Kids and time change...not a super fun combo. Maybe we should move back to Lafayette, IN (one of those rebel araes)!

Yep, I was one of those half sleep-walking zombies this morning, inwardly chewing myself out for not getting to bed earlier! But I survived... thanks for the sympathy!! :) Hope you had sweet dreams!

We beat the system, too, and worshiped on Saturday evening. Aaron, unfortunately, did not get the memo that we'd sidetracked the time change, and our routine is still in shambles. Oh, well...

So glad that Ella is on the mend. She looks wonderful!!!

Oh, the joys of Sunday morning (getting two sleepy kids ready for church) after a time change. I envy you (I know that envy's bad... but I really do) for having the flexibility to choose when you want to go to church.

Anyway... glad to see that Ella is doing better. What a little trooper.
